Here’s To Life

There’s something liberating about a 3-by-4-foot canvas—its scale offers me just enough space to explore without constraint, a kind of runway for possibility. This painting took shape as an act of dual expression—outward and inward—anchored by a desire to speak honestly through color, texture, and form. At its heart, this piece is a tribute to my father, who taught me that art—like life—demands both truth and effort. His influence is in every brushstroke, in the discipline of seeking my best thoughts, and in the courage to commit them to canvas without compromise. The palette evokes more than aesthetic—it conjures faith, belief, and honor. These hues are personal, spiritual, and ancestral. This painting is not just made—it is remembered, and in remembering, it honors.
